A flat tyre can turn a routine scooter trip into a recovery job. If your Vespa, NMAX, Aerox or another scooter has lost pressure, arrange a safe way to get it assessed before deciding which tyre to buy. This guide covers recovery to Scooter Narcotics and the information that helps us prepare a workshop quote.
What to do when you discover a flat tyre
Stop in a safe place away from moving traffic where possible. Do not continue riding on a visibly flat or damaged tyre. Michelin advises against riding on damaged tyres and recommends professional inspection to determine whether a tyre can be repaired. A visible nail alone does not establish that a repair is suitable: the tyre's internal condition also matters. See Michelin's motorcycle tyre repair guidance.
Take photographs only when it is safe. A clear photo of the affected wheel and tyre sidewall can help the workshop identify the size and understand the problem. Avoid removing an embedded object or trying to dismantle the wheel beside traffic.
Book scooter recovery in Singapore
Our scooter towing service lists S$45 flat islandwide pickup to the Scooter Narcotics workshop. Dispatch operates 24 hours. Recovery brings your scooter to us for assessment; tyre work is quoted separately. Dispatch availability does not mean that workshop repairs are carried out throughout the night.
- Open the towing page and complete the booking and checkout.
- Send your booking details and pickup location through the WhatsApp instructions.
- Include your scooter model, registration number and which wheel is affected.
- Tell dispatch if the scooter is in a basement, cannot roll, or has restricted access.
For a sheltered pickup, use our basement carpark recovery checklist. Do not assume the recovery vehicle can reach every parking bay; confirm access with dispatch.
What determines the tyre quote?
- Model and tyre size: send a legible sidewall photograph rather than guessing the size.
- Repair suitability: the workshop needs to assess the damage before recommending repair or replacement.
- Replacement choice: the available tyre, specification and stock affect the quote.
- Other damage: tell us about a kerb impact, accident or visible wheel damage.
There is no single replacement price that fits every scooter. Ask for the tyre, installation and any additional work to be itemised before approving the job.
Questions riders ask
Is a roadside plug a permanent repair?
Do not assume it is. Michelin describes an external wick repair as temporary and says an internal inspection is needed for a proper repair decision. Tell the workshop if a temporary repair has already been attempted.
Does S$45 include a new tyre?
No. The published S$45 is the scooter pickup charge. Tyre assessment, parts and replacement work are separate.
Where does the scooter go?
Our workshop is at 60 Jalan Lam Huat #04-28, Singapore 737869. Book recovery if the scooter cannot be ridden safely, or WhatsApp 8687 8551 with the model, tyre photos and location to discuss the next step.
