Privacy at Scooter Narcotics

Scooter Narcotics Pte Ltd is responsible for personal data collected for its store and services. This notice explains the information involved when you browse, create an account, buy parts, contact us or use our workshop and warranty services.

Information and purposes

Depending on the service you use, we process your name, email, phone number, billing and delivery address, order and payment-status details, correspondence, scooter model and application information. Workshop or warranty requests may also involve vehicle registration, chassis or engine details, service history, photos and documents you provide. Provide only information needed for your request and redact unrelated information from documents where possible.

We use this information to operate accounts, take and fulfil orders, check parts applications, arrange delivery or collection, respond to enquiries, manage bookings and warranty claims, prevent fraud and maintain required business records. We collect, use and disclose personal data for notified, reasonable purposes with consent or another basis permitted by applicable law. Marketing preferences are separate from the communications needed to manage an order or service.

Shopify, social sign-in and service providers

Shopify hosts the online store and supports checkout and customer accounts. Payment providers process payment information under their own security and privacy arrangements. Google or Facebook sign-in is optional and passes the account information permitted by the sign-in flow, including the email used for authentication. We do not receive your Google or Facebook password.

Information needed to perform your request may be shared with payment providers, couriers, manufacturers or suppliers handling an order or warranty claim, and providers supporting our hosting, forms, databases and customer communications. WhatsApp and other third-party services you choose to contact us through also process data under their own policies. We may disclose information where required by law or to address fraud or protect legal rights.

Cookies and saved information

The store uses cookies and similar technologies for cart, sign-in, preferences and security. Optional analytics or advertising features, where enabled, can also use these technologies subject to applicable consent requirements. Use the privacy controls offered on the site and in your browser to manage preferences. Blocking required cookies may affect checkout or sign-in.

The parts page saves garage details, saved products and enquiry lists in browser storage. These can remain on a shared device until cleared through the site or browser settings; they are not necessarily part of your customer account.

Protection, retention and overseas processing

We are responsible for reasonable security arrangements and restricting access to business purposes. No online transmission can be guaranteed completely secure. Personal data is retained for the purpose for which it was collected and applicable legal or business needs, then deleted or anonymised when no longer needed. Some providers process data outside Singapore; transfers must meet applicable protection requirements, including comparable protection under Singapore's PDPA where required.

Your requests

Contact our data protection contact at mark@scooternarcotics.com to request access or correction, withdraw consent, ask about retention or deletion, or raise a concern. We may verify your identity and explain any lawful exception, reasonable access fee or effect on an ongoing service before proceeding. Withdrawal does not prevent retention or processing that is otherwise permitted or required by law. You can unsubscribe from marketing using the message's opt-out method or contact us.

We update this notice when practices change. Material changes to purposes or permissions will be communicated and consent obtained where required. Shopify's handling of data is also described in its Privacy policy.
