Does your scooter shake when pulling away or feel uneven under acceleration? Describe the symptom before choosing parts or an upgrade. CVT judder is a reason to arrange an inspection, but vibration alone does not identify which component needs attention.
What to tell the workshop
- Your scooter model, engine size, registration number and mileage.
- Whether the shaking happens from a standstill, while accelerating or at another time.
- Whether it occurs when cold, after a longer ride, with a passenger or every time.
- Any new noise, warning light or change in performance.
- The date and scope of the last CVT service or recent parts changes.
A symptom description is more useful than a guessed diagnosis. Do not try to recreate the problem in traffic or film while riding. If the scooter feels unsafe, arrange recovery instead.
Inspection before replacement
Ask the workshop what it found and which parts need attention. Our Aerox and NMAX service listing describes opening and inspecting the transmission rather than swapping parts on assumption. The recommended work should follow the findings and the specification for your scooter.
Ask which parts are included in a package and which would be separately quoted. A routine CVT service, a repair for a specific fault and a performance upgrade are different choices. Buying an upgrade kit does not by itself establish or resolve the cause of vibration.
Aerox and NMAX service options
The Yamaha Aerox and NMAX booking page currently lists the Full Service at S$72 nett, labour included, covering belt, rollers and engine oil. It also lists the Dash Dash Racing CVT Upgrade Kit at S$199. Check the current product page and confirm the option appropriate to your scooter.

Other scooter models
For a Vespa, Italjet, PCX or another scooter, use the model-specific servicing options or contact the workshop with your details. Do not apply another model's package price or parts specification to your own scooter.
What to confirm before approving the job
- The inspection findings and recommended work.
- The parts, labour and consumables included in the quote.
- How additional work will be quoted for your approval.
- Parts availability and the expected completion time.
- Any relevant warranty terms for the approved repair.
Keep the scope and price in writing. Completion depends on the findings and any parts that need ordering; confirm the collection timing for your own job.
